The job count in the US machine shop industry has gone up from 262,000 in the year 2021 to 277,000 in 2023, showcasing an improvement in the sector’s sales post-COVID recovery period. Furthermore, the financial yield from US machine shops increased from $36 billion in 2020 to $40.6 billion in 2021, which indicates a 12 percent increase within a single year.
