The new system allows commuters to utilize cashless transactions for their rides on the MRT-3. For these payments, commuters can now simply scan the QR code presented on ticket booth counters. This method streamlines the payment process, reducing the need for physical cash handling.
Accepted Payment Methods
Currently, the cashless payment options are available for single-journey tickets on the MRT-3 line. These tickets can now be paid for by using either the GCash mobile wallet service or any digital banking/e-wallet app that supports the QR Ph standard.
